Members can post about upcoming races of interest, meet ups, other interesting running related articles in a more timely way than monthly newsletters
HRC Signal App / Chat
Club Members can download the Signal App, and connect to our Club Chat. We use this for more immediate updates, plus ad hoc runs and meet ups. When we have a group of runners heading to a race, we typically will set up a separate race chat to keep in touch, plan lift shares and so on.

Ordered items can be picked up at one of our regular Club runs. You will get an email when your items are ready for pick up
HRC Runner of the Year
Every year Club Members can nominate a fellow member for HRC Runner of the Year. Those lucky enough to be nominated are listed for Club (anonymous) voting. Then the results are announced at our Annual General Meeting each December.
We also award the Keith Blalock Memorial Award annually since 2016. Keith started his running journey with our club, he was quiet, loved the club, and loved Occoneechee Mountain (there is a bench on the Mountain installed in his honor). Keith sadly passed away on January 2nd, 2016, aged 52. The HRC Board award it annually to someone who best mirrors Keiths qualities for perseverance and the nothing will hold me back attitude.
